Interstage Liquid Protection

Interstage Condensation
First-stage compression heats ammonia vapor. Intercooler drops temperature causing partial condensation. Oil carryover from lubricated cylinders mixes with condensate. Second-stage suction separator removes these liquids preventing mechanical damage and maintaining compression efficiency.
Separator Design
